We had a lovely stay that’ll stick with us. The room had a balcony and was great, though the bathroom door wouldn’t quite close. The hotel has a charming design and a strong style of its own, and the staff were lovely and always ready to help. Its spot at the end of the harbour made it peaceful and, I think, quieter. The location is just what it is, so I can’t call it good or bad.

The location is nice, but there are better options in the nearby bays. We used the beach and restaurant, and they first tried to charge us 33% more for the beach because it wasn’t the weekend anymore, or so they said. In the end, they agreed to the price they’d promised earlier. There was only one other table, but our food took a very long time. Half the menu wasn’t available, even though they’d claimed everything was. The food itself was okay. The strange part was the waiters complaining to us about negative comments here, saying service is late when it’s crowded. It wasn’t crowded for us, and food still took an hour. Avoid it unless you’re fine with high prices and poor service.

The location is the one good thing. The rooms are small and in poor condition, and the service isn’t even okay. If you’re visiting Assos, I’d pick another hotel.

The view from the room and the surrounding nature were really good. The seaside and beach were clean and nice, and both breakfast and dinner were fine. We felt welcome the whole way through, from arrival to goodbye.

Great seafood at the antique port of Assos, a lovely view, and welcoming staff.
