Koç Tatil Köyü

Emir was a friendly, handsome waiter, and he handled service and the lively conversations between the two older ladies so well. Ms. Atanur was just as attentive, always smiling and taking care of every request. As an Istanbul hotel manager, I can say the staff here are a real asset. We chose this lovely hotel after researching it and speaking with dear Ms. Atanur by phone, hoping my 75-year-old mother and her friend could have an easy, peaceful holiday. We liked the location, cleanliness, food, and service. If a modest beachfront room and a welcoming, intimate atmosphere suit you better than luxury, come along. I'm writing from the hotel right now :)

The rooms show some wear from use and aren't new, but we had a trouble-free holiday and I'd recommend the place. The pool is on one side and the sea on the other, so the location is fantastic. The food was enough for us and carefully made. There's not a huge selection, but it doesn't need one. The owner and staff are wonderful people, and we thank them very much. (Nevin-Tufan)

The young people working in the food area were polite and friendly, but that couldn't bring the rest of the service above average. We arrived at 9 pm for one of our two nights, and found a room that hadn't been cleaned, despite our late check-in. They said they'd clean it the next day. The bin was broken, and the liquid soap dispenser was broken too, or missing. They fixed it the following day. At checkout we were asked to leave early because they needed to clean, even though check-in is several hours before 14:00. Given the room we'd been assigned, which was plainly unclean when we arrived and apparently hadn't been cleaned by evening, I don't understand what we were put through. I wouldn't call that cleaning.

The meals were delightful, the rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. I stayed for four days and was very pleased, and it's an easy place to stay with family. Thanks especially to the owner, Mr. Niyazi, for being so welcoming, attentive, and caring. I hope I'll see you again next year.
