Pedasos Altinel Otel

The shore is very close, though it's covered in pebbles and gravel, so walking there was pretty unpleasant. I stayed two nights. The room was basic but fine, and if you just need somewhere to sleep without expecting much else, it may suit you. The air conditioner worked well, which was my main requirement. I couldn't get a Wi-Fi signal in my room, even though it was right next to the pool. Meals came as a four-course set menu: soup, meze, a main dish, and fruit. The taste was okay, but the portions were surprisingly small, and even some kids were still hungry. One server agreed there was a problem. The meze selection was limited, and an extra serving of the main dish was expensive. I did appreciate that they tried to offer additional items outside the menu, and they can make pasta if your child wants some. All in all, it was alright, and you might want to give it a try.

The hotel has some real advantages: it's in a lovely location, has its own beach, and the beach is easy to reach. But I can't say whether the hotel was good or bad overall. The pool looked very dirty, its water changed color, and during our three days there we saw no cleaning or pest control. Breakfast was inadequate and tasteless. The homemade cakes, cookies, and pastries were all terrible, and the packaged tea had no variety. The Nescafe and powdered milk tasted stale, and you had to serve them with a teaspoon. The room looked clean but didn't feel hygienic. There was a mini-fridge, but it was useless, an old refrigerator painted to look new. The bathroom was neglected too: the hand soap dispenser didn't work, the sink leaked, the shampoo and shower gel were poor quality, and there was no ventilation. It felt like they were cutting costs, and it wasn't good value for money. An average hotel with pros and cons.

The best thing about this hotel in Kadırga Bay is its excellent beachfront location. The buildings are around 50 years old, though, and the management is poor. Breakfast is weak, which makes little sense for a bed and breakfast place. How much can they really save by cutting back on it? Hotels like this shouldn't bother. In the end, it's your choice.

The pool was so filthy and green that even my 3-year-old nephew, who loves pools, refused to get in. After we moved to another hotel, he kept asking to go in the pool. Breakfast was bland, and the cheese seemed to have been sitting out for days. The bathroom was so dirty that taking a shower felt like risking hepatitis. The last time he washed, there were remnants between the tiles that looked like they'd been there since World War I. I can't even write more. Don't waste your time or money, even if they say it's free.
