The location in Yesilyurt is good, and there’s a parking lot. That evening we were desperate for somewhere to stay, so we accepted a room for 3000 lira a night. The AC didn’t work. They said they’d service it in the morning, but after giving us that hope, they never said anything more about fixing it. We were prepared to put up with the evenings without AC, but in the summer heat it was unbearable. There was no hot water either, though that was somewhat okay given how hot it was outside. The service seemed good at first. He was friendly and tried to make us comfortable, but when we asked for a menu, he said they had a “live menu.” We were surprised by the prices afterward. Breakfast was included, but when he asked whether we wanted sausage with our eggs, he charged 300 lira for it. Peanuts with our beer cost 200 lira. He also pressured us to have dinner and wanted to charge 1500 lira per person, then made us feel bad when we said no, even though we weren’t hungry. It could have been a great experience, but the lack of business sense and honesty spoiled it.

The room had no heating, and the AC didn’t work either. There were no towels and no breakfast. It seems there weren’t proper facilities because it was low season. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow too.

A pleasant, quiet, comfortable hotel, though getting there without a car isn’t easy. There’s an indoor and an outdoor pool, both quite small. Breakfast wasn’t among the best in the area.

It’s a lovely, quiet place and well looked after. But despite the description, there’s no bar or restaurant, and nowhere nearby to eat. After a six-hour drive, that was unacceptable.
