Ela cave house

We chose this place after reading its Google reviews, and the high rating makes sense given the service. It's a peaceful spot in a green valley, with a stream running by, and the owner was helpful and very welcoming. Göreme and Ürgüp are about 15-20 minutes away. Our room was clean, and breakfast was just right.

The market was only a five-minute walk away, and the Red Pit was about ten minutes from the hotel. For our one-night stay, my family and I found the stone room spotless and barely damp at all. The staff were attentive, and breakfast was waiting for us at 9 a.m. It was delicious, though it wasn't an especially elaborate spread. The manager said he could arrange whatever else we wanted for breakfast. A lovely place to stay.

My wife and I would happily stay here again. From the outside, it wasn't what I'd pictured, but I was very pleased once we got inside. Everyone was warm and attentive, always smiling, and treated us so well. I'd definitely recommend coming here. I'm sure you'll feel comfortable.

The main downside is how remote it is. Ayvalı Village has lots of stone hotels like this, and the sound of water and birds makes it feel peaceful. Ela Cave House is good value, and arriving there rewards you with a beautiful view, even though it's 10-15 km from Üçhisar and the drive can make you wonder where you're going. I'd strongly suggest contacting the owner before booking through another website. Thanks :)
