There was some noise in the evening from the street and what sounded like an event or club. The paid parking lot is about 100 meters from the hotel.

It’s right by the Main Street, with the center and bus stop an easy walk away. The room has good equipment, and the staff were friendly and helpful. For the price, it’s very good value. There’s paid parking next door, though we had no trouble finding a spot on the street outside at night. Sound carries through the walls easily, which is the main downside.

Our room had its own separate entrance and felt completely independent. It was comfortable and very nice, and we didn’t have any noise issues. Noise could be a possibility in the rooms inside the hotel, since the house has wooden parts and is probably an old Greek house. There are no extra services beyond the rooms, but given the location and cleanliness, I still think it’s a good choice.

We picked this small boutique hotel because the reviews were positive. While we were on the road, we called to ask about the location and price. The new owner, perhaps thinking we were easy prey, called several times, gave us directions, and eventually waited for us on the main street. We took that as modesty and decided to stay, even though the hotel didn’t include breakfast. He showed us a clean room that we liked. He also said parking wouldn’t be a problem and that he’d saved a place in front, but knowing we might not find a spot with our car, he suggested taking the ferry to Cunda Island. We couldn’t sleep because the walls in the three-room hotel were so thin that we could hear conversations and noise as if people were right beside us. The ferry only runs depending on customer demand, and there wasn’t one that day, so in the heat we had to walk to the market and back. The owner saw us there and pointed out a toast shop, saying, “This is the toast shop I mentioned,” as if it belonged to him or someone he knew. At 9 pm I called because I couldn’t find a table in front of the hotel. He said something like, “I’m sleeping now, figure it out yourselves, there must be a table.” Two hours later he was drunk in front of that same toast shop in the market and ignored us. Dear Mr. Murat, yes, we stayed at your hotel, but deceiving customers will only earn you 2000 TL for one day.
