We couldn’t sleep before 1 AM on any of our three nights. A bar right beside the hotel, run by NICE PEOPLE, blasted horrible music at full volume every night until then. The windows were good, but they couldn’t keep the noise out. Ask about this before booking. It’s a pity, because the hotel itself is great, but I wouldn’t recommend staying until the problem is fixed. The rooms are spacious, with good new furniture, and the breakfast was tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bay view was great, and it’s an excellent hotel in those respects. That’s why I gave it 3 stars.

We regretted eating elsewhere, so stick with the hotel restaurant. The food is both good and surprisingly affordable, and you get to eat with the sunset, lights across the water, and waves breaking at your feet. For value, this is the best hotel in Ayvalik. It’s clean, central, and cheap, with a view across the bay to Cunda Island and the sunset straight ahead.

Our room faced the sea, and the view was stunning. The hotel is right by the water, and the staff were very helpful. The rooms are small but clean.

We were very happy with our three nights at the Elit Otel annexe. The rooms were clean, and the staff friendly. It’s in Ayvalik’s charming old part, and both this property and nearby Ayvalik Cihan Otel have been beautifully refurbished. Their location in the town center by the waterfront is fantastic. Very recommendable.

There’s a disco bar right beside the hotel, and sleeping before 01:00 is absolutely impossible. I mentioned it to the receptionist, but he said there was nothing he could do and that I’d have to be patient.
