The school groups made it impossible to enjoy the hotel. Children kept shouting, running around, partying in their rooms, slamming doors, and rudely swarming the buffet. Their supervisors seemed not to care, and repeated complaints at reception brought no real improvement. The management even seemed to prioritize the young guests; the manager told us the children wanted to stay at a five-star hotel, as though kids over ten could tell it from a youth hostel. This place calls itself five-star, but felt more like a youth hostel. Never again at this hotel chain.

The room was stuck on heat, so it was 27.5°C inside. Service? No. Dinner food might keep you going, but there wasn't even free water with the meal or complimentary water in the room. Five stars, sure, whatever.

The pool was a great size, and the hotel sits right by the sea in quiet, comfortable surroundings. We really enjoyed our recent all-inclusive stay at Haliç Park Hotel. The food was very good, and the staff were friendly and knew their stuff. We'd recommend this five-star hotel to everyone. Thanks to the management and staff of Haliç Park Ayvalık.

The staff work hard and are very polite, though I did see glasses being cleaned rather carelessly at the bar. Maybe they were short-staffed, but I didn't expect that. The building is quite old and could use an update. The location is fantastic, with panoramic views. There's plenty of food, and the quality and choice are very good. We especially liked the pool bar burgers. The one food issue was that some dishes, particularly the barbecue, weren't always warm.

The location is okay, but the service was a disaster. People tried to attract customers with false information. The pool and steam room were out of order, and only the Turkish bath was open, though it was completely dirty. The sauna was open, but only at 45-50°C. Maybe this was because of the season or something else, I really don't know. A five-star hotel should close its doors when it doesn't have enough customers. There's no reason to pay five-star prices for one-star service, especially at the spa.
