Everyone made us feel at home and safe from the moment we arrived, instead of like strangers in a foreign place. My wife and I chose the hotel based on reviews, and the location, cleanliness, and practical rooms were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the lady in the kitchen was very friendly and helpful. We’d also like to thank Mr. Kadir and his father for their hospitality. We’ll definitely stay here again next time.

The rooms were clean and tidy, with air conditioning, a TV, fridge, hairdryer, mosquito nets, and clothes racks for swimsuits and towels. The racks were a nice touch, as were the nets. Breakfast was varied and really good, with hot items like Turkish fried dough, fries, menemen, and homemade jams. It’s bed and breakfast, and Badawood Arjin also has an agreement with Badavut Ayaz Beach, where sunbeds and umbrellas are free. The sea is an easy 100 meters’ walk away, and there’s parking for guests with cars. We had a relaxing, enjoyable holiday and were very pleased with our stay. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Karakan, Mr. Umut, Ms. Filiz, and Ms. Türkan. Thank you to everyone!

We stayed August 24-29, my wife and I, after choosing the hotel because of its reviews. It wasn’t quite what we expected. The room was small and the ceilings were very low, which made it feel cramped. The toilet was so narrow it was hard to move without bumping into things, like an airplane toilet. The bed creaked loudly with the slightest movement; for a hotel at this price, I expected a decent bed frame. The mosquito nets were a sensible idea, but they’re also needed in the bathroom, since mosquitoes come in through the ventilation. There’s a serious mosquito problem. Breakfast was good, and the two women working there were helpful. The coffee and lemonade service was good too. Wi-Fi sometimes cut out completely and at other times was incredibly slow. I think one network extender was shared across floors. When we explained the problems to Mr. Karakan, he said he was also an employee and had raised these issues, but nothing had been done. You really need a car to get here: there’s no dinner service and nowhere to eat nearby, so getting food takes up a lot of time. We had no problems with Ayaz Beach, which the hotel has an agreement with, and it was the cleanest beach. If I came back to this area, I’d stay at a decent hotel in Sarımsaklı or Ayvalık and make a day trip to Badavut beach. Mr. Karakan said this was the most affordable hotel in the area, and I respect that, but I disagree. When I checked the app beforehand, I saw much cheaper hotels with beach agreements. I chose this one only because of the good reviews. Also, if you work in tourism, you should at least take guests’ luggage to their rooms when they arrive, especially since there’s no elevator. Still, thank you for everything.

It was convenient to walk to the sea, and we were very happy with the service at the partner beach, Badavut Ayaz Beach, and their partner locations. The hotel staff were attentive and friendly, and parking wasn’t a problem for us, even though it’s a serious issue in Badavut. Breakfast came as a spread, which I prefer to a buffet. It was tasty, though mostly the same each day during our four-night stay. The fried items and the menemen or omelet changed, and we asked the lady in the kitchen for a few small adjustments. Badavut is far from both Ayvalık and Sarımsaklı, with few activities, no restaurants, and probably difficult minibus access, so getting around without a car would be hard. With a car, it’s a good hotel and area for a quiet beach holiday. Küçükköy and Sarımaklı are only 15-20 minutes away by car, making the livelier areas easy to reach.

The sea is amazing, so don’t forget your snorkels. The hotel smelled wonderfully clean as soon as we walked in, and the rooms were very clean too. I normally bring pillowcases and things for hotel stays but didn’t need them here. There are mosquito nets on the windows and a clothes drying rack, a little small but manageable. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and breakfast was good. You can get into Ayaz Beach for free, but try to arrive around 9 pm, it gets crowded quickly. The location is good, with a nearby market and parking lot; there’s an A101 supermarket a little further down from Ramo Beach. One thing, I wouldn’t choose that place: the area around the nature park is deserted and very dark at night, and even driving through felt frightening. I recommend going by car.
