The Thursday bazaar right nearby was full of color, flavors, and local crafts, a really nice experience. The guesthouse is right in the heart of the city, and the rooms were very clean with everything we needed. The owner was an amazing man and let us leave our luggage after checking out until we needed to depart. I truly recommend it 😃

Serkan is a great host and knows the area well, and the place is clean and tidy. It's close to Ayvalık's main spots. This is the only place that really feels like home to me, definitely the best place to stay.

The streets around here are all cobblestone, and while there are paid parking lots nearby, free parking options are also within walking distance. We stayed on our first holiday in Ayvalık and were very pleased. The location in the Macaron neighborhood, among the historic Greek houses, suited us perfectly: sights are walkable, and places to eat, drink, and shop are all on the same street. It isn't a quiet, secluded setting, so keep that in mind. The small place has only a few rooms, but we felt at home rather than like hotel guests. Staff were polite and attentive, quickly sorting out anything we needed. The rooms are functional and very clean. I think there had been a water supply problem, but it was resolved and we had no trouble. If you're after good value, cleanliness, comfort, and a stay in Ayvalık's historic fabric without special expectations, I'd recommend it.
