Cunda Beyaz Balina Hotel

We spent two nights and three days here and left very satisfied. The beach is lovely, and the hotel has its own stretch of it, which is unusual on this side of the island. I bought water shoes after reading comments that the sea was dirty, but it was just bits blown in by the wind. No seaweed or jellyfish. A few meters in, there was something like a branch, though not quite, more like tape from an old cassette. That can happen when the sea is windy; it gets deeper gradually, fish swim around, and the water farther in is spotless. When it's windy, the sea can bring things in, so take water shoes and enjoy it. The hotel was incredibly clean too; it smelled of soap as soon as we walked in, and I wandered around sniffing because it was so lovely. I expected a basic breakfast, but the small buffet was quite enough and they replenished it as things ran out. The dishes varied by day: fried sausage one morning and sausage in tomato sauce another, brownie cake or carrot cake, pastry or flatbread. Tomatoes, cucumbers, several cheeses including kashar and cecil, salami, a cream-cheese sandwich-like item, fries, melon and watermelon were regular options. The pool is small, but some guests enjoyed it. I read complaints about the music, but the staff played what they felt like, from Hande Yener, Tarkan, Gülşen and Bengü to Yalın and Simge, and we had fun with it. It's about a 20-minute walk through the back streets to the island center, or around five minutes by car, though then you need to park there. I also saw comments about there being just two bottles of water in the fridge, which is true, but they'll give you two more the next day if you ask. Their hamburgers are very good, the Ayvalık toast is pretty good too, and the fries and snacks were enjoyable. They sell Algida ice cream. Hopefully we'll come back.

The location was excellent, with its own beach, and breakfast was very good. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The rooms were clean and nice, with a huge balcony. Staff were friendly, and we were happy with the stay. We'd go again.

It's easy to park here, and the staff were helpful. The rooms and sunbeds were spotless; I even saw them washing the sunbeds in a washing machine. Great for families with kids, with a children's pool and shallow sea. I found breakfast a little weak. The video I shared was from Sunday morning; Monday was also buffet, but without fries, and on Tuesday, with fewer guests, they served a spread instead. Extras: Turkish coffee 200 TL, fries 350 TL. Would I come? Absolutely, you should come here.

We had a lovely four days with the Neo Beach family. It's a boutique hotel and very clean, with delicious food and snacks at reasonable prices. The family who own it are friendly and attentive. Thank you!
