Kanelo Otel

The staff were really friendly, and the place is right in the center. It had closed for winter but they still accepted us. The price was reasonable, and restaurants and grocery shops are within walking distance. I recommend staying here.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and my room was nice and really clean. Great place, I'd definitely recommend it!

My mother and I had a room looking straight out to sea, and the location was fantastic. Everything was very clean, and breakfast was both tasty and filling. We'd planned to spend just one night in Ayvalık, but liked the hotel's location and cleanliness enough to add another. With more time, we'd have stayed longer! We first considered Macaron Konağı, but they didn't have a suitable room. On Mr. Ersen's recommendation, we booked Kanelo, another place he owns, and were very happy with the choice. I'd pick either Kanelo or Macaron Konağı if I return. The only drawback was parking, though that's a general problem in Ayvalık.

We were very satisfied with our two-day stay in Ayvalık last summer, on the way back from Lesbos. Ersan Bey was attentive from the moment we arrived, even arranging an unexpected seaside breakfast. When we left, he let us leave our luggage there too. We didn't run into any problems, though of course that doesn't mean nobody ever does. We'd choose his place again without hesitation if we came back to Ayvalık. Sending him our warm regards from here :)
