Kastoria Hotel

We had breakfast on the deck with a lovely scenic view, and enjoyed our stay at Kastoria so much. The rooms were very clean and looked just like the photos. The owners were super nice and respectful to everyone, and gave us great tips about places to visit in Ayvalik. Thanks for the hospitality, we'll come back :)

Kastoria has a breathtaking view, super clean rooms, and delicious breakfast. We had a wonderful experience and feel lucky to have stayed here. It's in a perfect spot, just a five-minute walk to downtown. Every staff member we met was lovely and eager to help, going out of their way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting here. You can see two photos below showing the morning and evening views.

The room was clean, quiet, and secure, and check-in was smooth. We got a warm welcome from the lovely couple at the front reception, who were very helpful. The whole staff was courteous and friendly. The hotel is right in Ayvalik city center, in the old part of the city, in a beautifully restored historic building. Cleanliness clearly matters here. The owner was always ready to answer questions and recommended good restaurants and places to visit in town. There were so many positives during our stay that it'd take ages to list them all. We were sad to leave, and we'll definitely return.

The central location made everything convenient. At night we could wander around Ayvalik, have dinner and drinks, and browse local handmade goods until midnight. For the beach, we took the small buses that come every eight minutes. The hotel view is superb, and the breakfast was delicious traditional food, with some variety in the hot dishes each day. We spent five days here with my parents and had an amazing time. The newly renovated building and rooms were super clean, and everything was high quality, just like the photos. The wonderful owners gave us great advice on what to see and where to eat. Staying here and talking with them let us experience the best of Turkish culture and hospitality. Having stayed in all kinds of places around the world, I can say this was a very exceptional place. I'll definitely come back if I visit Ayvalik again. Thanks so much for everything!
