After a long day out, the garden is a lovely place to unwind, especially at night. We left our car in the parking lot and spent two or three days exploring the island on foot. The owners were warm and helpful, and everything else was really great. The one small issue was a smell from the toilet drain. We think it may be connected to the island’s old infrastructure, since it seems to be a general problem there, and hope it gets fixed. Thanks for everything, and may things go well for you.

I wouldn’t stay here again, and I don’t think the 6k per night we paid was worth it. We booked three rooms for nine people for three nights. Although the owners were kind and tried to help, the service was poor. Getting in touch with the hotel was difficult, and a simple room issue on arrival took ages to sort out. The rooms and service didn’t feel hygienic. When I first entered ours, the toilet was dirty, with hair and dust in the bowl, so I had to ask for wet wipes and clean it myself. Towels were never changed; we searched the cupboards and took what we needed, and cold water wasn’t always available when we asked for water. Breakfast was inadequate, with everything served in small pieces. Once, a glass at breakfast had a cooked onion in it. I have no idea how it got there, but after drinking from it I felt extremely nauseous. The food didn’t leave us full or make us enjoy the meal. If I come to Cunda again, I’ll choose somewhere else. I’m sure better service is available at a hotel farther down the road.

Getting to and from the city center on foot was easy because of the hotel’s excellent location. The rooms were in acceptable condition and clean enough, and breakfast was fine, though it could have offered more choices. What really let us down was how little help we got from management. The map showed the hotel in the wrong place, but nobody warned us or assisted while we spent two hours trying to find it.

We spent four nights in two rooms, and had to ask out loud for clean towels every day. Each time, our request seemed to surprise them. Asking for water each day got the same reaction. There was no real service, from keeping the rooms and towels clean to providing water that should have been in the room. The buffet breakfast had a decent selection, though its hygiene seemed questionable. The rooms also smelled of toilets, which was the final straw. Cunda center is very close, and that made evening walks easy, but the location was the only good part.
