Nora Beach Otel

There was no hot water, and it didn't feel like a hotel at all. The pool cleaning schedule was unclear, the sunbeds were broken, and anyone planning to go just for the pool should think again. The rooms felt 20, 30 years behind 2020. The balcony door wouldn't close, the wardrobes were old, and the tube TV and door locks barely worked. We paid 200 TL per person per night for one night, then had to leave the next day. They said they could move us to a better room with hot water and internet, and lowered the rate from 200 TL to 120 TL to keep us safe. What a joke. If you want a hotel nostalgic for the 1990s and with no idea what a hotel should be, don't miss it.

The staff were nice and friendly, and breakfast was okay. The main dishes weren't great, so we made do with appetizers. We planned a three-day stay but left after one day, long enough to cover the deposit. The hotel falls far short of what it promises. There was only a TV and a bed in the room, with no shower enclosure by the toilet, as if we'd gone back to the 70s. The pool is small but usable, and the sun loungers are broken and too few. The all-inclusive plan includes alcohol, but the quality is poor.

The hygiene was awful. Our room had spiders and flies, there was nowhere for people to sit, and the hotel had only six poolside tables for its 40 rooms. We booked a week but made it through one night and are leaving. One of our friends got food poisoning last night, so we had to take him to the hospital. I came for an all-inclusive drink, but there wasn't even beer at the bar. When we asked the bar manager, they said they didn't know when he'd be back. After we insisted, someone from a Tekel shop was sent to the hotel with 3-5 bottles of Skoll beer. I've stayed in many hotels, but never in one this bad anywhere in this country.

The staff were the only good part. We barely got through one day there. Food choices were basically chickpeas and bulgur pilaf, and the rooms had rust everywhere. The bathroom cabinet looked ready to topple if you bumped the sink. There was a tiny gas-powered TV, a squeaky bed, no slippers, and a drinks bar advertised as unlimited that still felt limited. The pool was only about 1.40 meters high and tiny, despite being presented as large, and around 80% of the sun loungers were broken. This wasn't simply a bad hotel, it was awful in almost every way.
