Cunda Deniz Hotel

At deniz hotel we really felt like we were on holiday, spending our time enjoying the sea and the green garden. The hotel is only a five-minute walk from the centre. I'd highly recommend having dinner at cazibe restaurant at least one evening.

We keep choosing this hotel whether we travel with kids or without. It's especially handy for a relaxing holiday when you don't want to get worn out. Step out of your room and the garden is right there, breakfast area to the right, then just two steps down to your sun lounger. No walking around or hauling luggage. Families with children will know what I mean. The place was clean, we saw no insects, and there's a garden swing where kids can run around and play. Thanks to the ladies who cleaned our rooms, and to the friendly staff. Service was good and everything we asked for was provided. Breakfast was adequate, with unlimited tea in the morning. I wish they'd offer omelets, though. You have to pay extra for things you ask for. My child doesn't like boiled eggs and wanted a fried egg, so we asked for an omelet and were charged extra. That didn't feel nice. I also think tea and coffee should be unlimited all day; it wouldn't be a big problem.

The location, pier, and sea were beautiful, and the owner and staff were sweet and friendly. The rooms could use some work: the only lights were the bedside lamps, and the furniture was old. Breakfast is included, but if breakfast is the only meal on offer, I think it should be good. We got tired of eating the same things every day. On our last day we asked for fried eggs instead of boiled ones and were told it would cost extra. That didn't feel nice.

Cunda is easy to reach from here, and the restaurants are close enough for dinner and a walk around without taking the car. The staff were warm, attentive, and respectful. Our room was clean and fine, though the furnishings felt a little old; anyone especially focused on comfort might mind that. The room by the kitchen was noisy, so you may want to mention it when booking. There’s a nice sitting spot outside the room. The sea here wasn’t much to write home about, so if you can, try somewhere else, Sarimsakli Sea is lovely and you can also take a boat trip. Breakfast was simple but enough for us, with fresh, tasty food. The boiled eggs came out hot, as did the fries. Good for a weekend or short break, and you can bring your furry friends.
