Myella Hotel Resort & Spa

The staff, the place, and the people all felt so warm and welcoming. We had a great holiday here, the food was good, and it felt like a safe place for kids, so I’d recommend it to families. Thanks to everyone, we had a lovely time 🌹

The waiting staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there, and some days they didn’t even set the tables. They cleared the dishes but left the tables unwiped between guests. I also saw chefs in black gloves put their hands in their pockets, text on their phones, wipe their foreheads, then touch the food. That certainly doesn’t help the rating. The place needs a proper clean, especially the bathrooms. Floors were never swept or wiped. I’ve never left a shower with dirtier feet than when I went in.

We had a great week at My Ella Hotel with the family, and the pool outside was lovely, clean, and warm. The sea is only about 50 meters from the back gate, which was easy with our baby. The city centre is 2.5 km away; we went once, on Saturday, to see the market. The balcony door helped with the music, which was fun but sometimes terribly loud, especially at lunchtime when we were trying to get the baby to sleep. Nights were definitely better. There was a lot to like about the food, with plenty of choices. I even found new dishes on my last day, though I can imagine it might get boring on a longer stay. The staff were kind. Senna at reception was especially helpful, spoke very good English, and always did her best to sort out our problems. Enes at the snack bar was my favorite waiter and was always helpful too. A special thank you to the medical emergency staff, who arranged for our little baby to see a doctor. Getting there was difficult with a small child because it was quite far from the hotel. I loved tea time from 5 to 6 PM, with Turkish tea and coffee and pretzels. The room cleaner came every day to change towels, tidy the beds, and bring toilet rolls, though the floors could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The gym had good equipment, but cleaning, maintenance, and tidiness there were very poor. The indoor playroom was closed most of the time, even when I tried during opening hours. I also missed having a microwave. A small kitchen on each floor with a microwave and sink for washing baby bottles would be really helpful for mothers with babies. A few things could be improved, but all in all we had a lovely holiday and I still give the hotel five stars.

Didi from Bali was especially kind and warm, and her gentle energy and bright smile made us feel well looked after. The therapists were all professional, and the spa reception team greeted us with apple tea. I also appreciated the treatment leaflets in Polish, such a thoughtful detail. I booked a Turkish bath for myself, my son, and my cousin, and the whole spa day was pure bliss. We enjoyed it so much that I’ve already booked another appointment to try different treatments. Can’t wait to go back! 🌺
