The beach is sandy and lovely for lounging, though there are lots of stones where you enter the sea, so water shoes may help. Wi-Fi worked well in reception and the restaurant, but wasn't as dependable in the rooms or on the beach. We felt well looked after throughout our stay at Bitez Deniz Hotel. The room cleaner would check each morning whether we needed cleaning or fresh towels, and Bulut, one of the waiters, was friendly and attentive. Mert, the manager, was especially warm and helpful, sharing information about Bodrum and directions. He also makes delicious cookies served at breakfast. Breakfast was a highlight, with a big spread: menemen, sausages, tomatoes, cucumber, cakes, watermelon, olives, three kinds of cheese, eggs, and more. The hotel is a small boutique place that seems well suited to families. Its private beach is right there, and guests can relax without an extra charge, which I really appreciated.

The people are what make this place stand out. Everyone, from the owner to the bellboy, was respectful, cheerful, friendly, and there when you needed them. The private beach sits just in front, with free sunbeds and umbrellas for enjoying the sun. The hotel is along Bitez's long coastline, right in the centre. Rooms are spacious enough and very clean, with air conditioning and minibars. The kitchen has great seafood and meat, plus plenty of tasty choices from Turkish and world cuisine. There are lots of cocktail options too. A good-value place for a holiday, and I'd definitely recommend it.
