Bronze Hotel

Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, and there were plenty of sunbeds around the pool, which was a welcome treat in the July heat. We had a garden terrace room with a nice pool view. The rooms were cleaned daily and the towels changed. It's a gorgeous, intimate little hotel with really friendly, helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. If, like me, you enjoy a big brew, bring a cup lol

The beach, which is also a party destination, is really close, and the shower has good pressure for cooling off in the heat. The air conditioning works too. With kinder staff and slightly better facilities, this could have been a five-star budget hotel. Instead, rude treatment on several occasions made me anxious throughout my stay, and I wouldn't return even though I plan to visit bodrum again. One day, Alper from reception told us to stop using the room towels because we'd get them too dirty for their washing machine to clean, and said he'd make us pay if we kept using them. We ended up buying towels at a beach shop. I've never had this happen, and I stay in hotels regularly. Another day, he wouldn't let us into the pool and shouted at me not to get in. I felt he was picking on us for no reason. Cell, another employee, was also rude. He wouldn't greet us when we said Merhaba, and when we asked him for help, he just stayed silent. Both had sour attitudes and shouldn't be working in customer service. There are no clothing irons, so we couldn't wear clothes that needed ironing. The room was bare, with no kettle, tea, water or biscuits. They also charged us £50 for seven days of air conditioning, which should have been included in the price we prepaid online. Rohjat, Kemal and all the kitchen staff were wonderful, but those two bad eggs, Alper and Cell, spoiled the experience.

The staff were the best part, friendly and attentive. The pool is small but clean, the rooms are small too, and breakfast was okay. It's basic, so expect a room, pool and bar, nothing much beyond that. Definitely pay extra for air conditioning and a ground-floor room.

I stayed for a week during the 2024 season and couldn't find anything better for this price. The room was big and so was the pool, and everything else was good. The staff were all kind and polite, and they cleaned every day. Breakfast was okay, though not the best. My only request for the owners is to buy new pillows and bed sheets.
