Hotel Doria Hotel Bodrum-City Center

The free shuttle to the beach every hour was so convenient. I had a quiet, uncrowded week and really enjoyed the lovely neighborhood and excellent location. Everyonehonestly was generous, attentive, and helpful, and treated me respectfully when I needed help with the room facilities. The room was super comfortable, with a good view. I enjoyed the spa, the satisfying breakfast with a good selection, and the nice sitting area with an amazing view.

The setting is beautiful, and the view, sauna, and spacious parking are real pluses. The restaurant staff and Ali bey were very nice, but the managers came across as aloof and arrogant, with little interest in customer satisfaction. They sat drinking coffee and tea, smoking, or scrolling on a phone, while basic problems went unnoticed. For four days, crumbs under the dining tables weren't cleaned, and there were dead flies and bugs in the halls. Dust and crumbs were left under tables and in door tracks, flies were above the tomatoes, and there weren't plates by the fruit. I had to ask reception to get the hall cleaned after dead bugs and flies had remained on the floor for three days. During our six-day stay, the guest relations manager never spoke to us or even said hello. We paid $186/night, but when my husband asked that manager for two extra small bottles of water because we both take powdered medication, he said they could only give us two bottles. The out-of-season watermelon was pale and tasteless. There are four managers who come through the restaurant for breakfast and tea or coffee, yet none seem to notice these things. They need immediate training from well-run hotels such as Divan Otel in İstanbul, which is magnificent and meticulously managed.

Lokman was the nicest person at the hotel. He helped us a lot and was always smiling and polite, which made my stay enjoyable. The barman was nice too.

The hotel has a beautiful view and a great location, its main advantages. My room was huge, probably 45 square meters, with a sea view, and the staff were caring and very attentive. The beach is beautiful and only eight minutes away by shuttle or car. The swimming area is the size of a football stadium. The panton, service, and bar were all excellent. For this price, I don't think you can find anything better in Bodrum.
