The hotel's location was a big plus, within walking distance of the beach, and there's a lovely view by the pool. We stayed one night as three people, and by Bodrum standards it was very good value for money. The staff were helpful, and when we pointed out some hairs on the bedsheets on arrival, they changed them right away. Because of Bodrum's humidity, many places have a slight damp smell. In our room, it disappeared completely about 20 minutes after we turned on the air conditioner. The central location can bring some outside noise in the evenings, but it wasn't a problem for us.

The manager kindly upgraded us so we could enjoy a sea view, even though the room might otherwise have felt a tight fit. We loved the views from our balcony and the pool area, and the customer service and staff were excellent. The hotel is in a safe neighborhood, close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Just bear in mind that Bodrum is very hilly, so getting to the beach and between different levels involves walking up and down. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it in Bodrum.

The facilities were amazing, everything clean, modern, and well maintained, and the views were lovely. Onur at the front desk was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. After our long journey, the free early check-in he offered was a huge help. We had a fantastic stay at Gümbet Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. We'll definitely be back!
