At check-in, our room floor and sheets were dirty. The public toilet by the breakfast area was awful, smelly, and seemed never to get cleaned. The daytime receptionist was rude and unfriendly, with bad manners that made us feel unwelcome and unsafe, as if we were staying in his house for free. Hospitality takes more than taking money, and his lack of the basic skills made our stay unpleasant. Travelers want a clean, safe place, good service, and good memories, and we couldn't get any of that here. People like him give tourists a reason not to return to Turkey. If you want to be treated with respect and have a clean, safe stay, avoid this place.

The location was the one real plus, and the people were friendly. They even let us keep my son's special gluten-free food in the kitchen freezer. Still, I regret spending two nights here. We'd been city-hopping, one night in each place, and hoped for a relaxing break in Bodrum. Instead, this was the worst hotel I've stayed at across 30 Turkish cities and our second trip to Bodrum. The rooms, facilities, cleanliness, and maintenance were all poor. The doors were swollen and wouldn't shut properly. Locking them took a lot of force, and then unlocking them took ages. The bathroom toilet seat was broken, and the spare bed for the kids had a damaged mattress with 5-7 springs digging into my back. Even the bathroom bin had a lid that wouldn't close, and there were no kettle, tea, or coffee provided. Breakfast was very limited: cold bread, cheese, olives, boiled eggs, and one kind of fruit. There were no drinks or juice in the heat, and you had to ask for water. Similar complaints are already on Google, yet none of these major problems seem to have been fixed.

The night staff were nice, but one person made the whole stay awful. The daytime staff member was very rude and had a terrible attitude, with no idea of basic manners. The hotel could be much better. If they want to attract good customers, they should start by being pleasant and learning some basic politeness. It's never too late to learn.

When I stayed in 2022, the rate was 34 euros a night. There was a cleaner every day, and the woman at the desk was very sweet, though she didn't speak English. Two years on, they're asking 100 euros a night for one person. What changed?
