Surfer Caravan Gastro Pub and Suites

Being right on the water, in the middle of Bodrum, made this suite a great base. You can walk straight into the cobbled lanes, the shops and the marina restaurants, and the castle looks especially magical at night. We also liked the water's edge and the views. Our favourites nearby were Chinabloom for Asian food and Lizaz for Lebanese food and a peaceful setting. Bodrum Castle is only a short walk away and well worth a visit. We stayed in the smaller Rhino Suite. The separate bedroom and lovely morning view suited us well. The living and bedroom areas felt modern and roomy, with a pretty balcony, although the bathroom was a bit cramped. The kitchen had appliances, but there weren't enough utensils, pots or pans to make preparing meals practical. With so many restaurants and bars close by, that wasn't much of an issue. The check-in team were friendly and helpful. Ask them where the hot water switch is, or you may be waiting for a warm shower in the morning. The host company was slow to respond, but the guys downstairs were great. Weekend noise was manageable, and the suite has double glazing. Music comes from nearby venues, not the place downstairs, and it didn't keep us from sleeping. Since the apartment is in a pedestrian area, you’re right among the shops and a short walk from the marina.

The music and the view were really nice, though the prices are quite high. We paid 310 Turkish pounds for two draft beers, and the tip was already included in the bill.

We came by last week for cocktails at sunset. The staff were attentive and there’s a big cocktail menu, with incredible views. Prices are about what you'd pay at the high end in London, but the view is better. Worth a visit if you're in Bodrum.

A lovely spot to clear your head or hang out with friends. The view is breathtaking, the music is nice, and the staff are really cool and kind. It's my favourite place to relax in Bodrum 👌
