The upper-floor view was superb, and they make great coffee ☕. For the price, it was a good hotel: the room was satisfactory, the service nice, and the beach was close by car.

The hotel itself is lovely, quiet, and cutely designed. The staff were great, the coffee was the best, and I loved breakfast. Gumbet itself wasn’t as nice for me, with a busy beach, noisy bars, and drunk people around. Still love the hotel!

The breakfast is what makes this place. It’s in a nice neighbourhood, though you’ll need to walk up the hill from the beach and good restaurants. Google Maps puts the hotel in the wrong spot, and the correction was rejected, so finding it on the other side of this street loop can be tricky, especially for travellers.

Breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a hotel, with every ingredient fresh and tasty 😋. The view and location were breathtaking, and the service was amazing. We got answers to all the questions and advice we needed. Thanks for such a lovely stay, we’ll definitely be back!

I stayed with my son for a few days back in JUNE. Thanks so much for helping me look for my sunglasses and for the friendly service. It’s a beautiful, cozy, clean hotel, and the taxi service was great. I enjoyed my stay.
