Saka Life Hotel

It takes about 10-15 minutes by car or bus to get to the Palandöken skiing area. The hotel itself is centrally located, handy for restaurants and all sorts of shops. My friends and I found the rooms comfortable, and the staff, including the owner, were helpful and nice to visitors.

The location worked well for us, with shops and restaurants in walking distance and the ski hill a short drive away. We also enjoyed seeing Erzurum’s historic sites, including the castle and Çifte Minareli Medrese. We came from Canada to ski at Palandoken and picked Saka Life because of its fair price and good reviews. We stayed seven nights and would happily come back. The place was clean and well maintained, and everyone was welcoming and kind, even though we had a language barrier. Using a translator app to communicate was always pleasant, and the customer service was excellent. They even did our laundry for a reasonable fee. The woman who made breakfast each morning deserves a special mention. The included meals were fresh and filling. Internet, heating, and hot water all worked well. We recommend the hotel.

They upgraded us to a room with a better view, which made the stay even nicer. Service was the real standout, with the staff doing a lot to make our visit memorable. Breakfast was okay. I had a delightful time here and would recommend the hotel for its care for guests.

We were a family of four with two small children and had no problems at all. The hotel was comfortable for all of us, and the staff were professional and very clean. It’s a small hotel, with narrow corridors and a small elevator, but everything else was good and the price was good too. One of the best hotels in Erzurum, I’d suggest it to anyone.
