Great food and quiet. There’s a shuttle to the gondola, even though it’s a maximum of 200m walk. Lockers are available for skis and poles, and the hammam was great. The pool water temperature wasn’t ok, though. It must be heated after a day skiing.

The hotel is a little old, and the rooms feel outdated. In my experience, it doesn’t meet the standard of other five stars hotels, to be honest. The staff are extremely helpful and kind, though, and the location is absolutely perfect if you want to be near the ski center.

The kitchen is very good, especially the beef dishes. It’s a perfect spot for skiing, and there’s a large lobby.

The best part was how close Palan Hotel is to the slope, and the staff were quick to help whenever I needed anything. The hotel was generally clean, though the elevator had an unpleasant smell and there were used plates and rubbish left outside room doors. They should be cleared sooner. I also found half-used toilet paper in my room and expected a fresh roll. For a one-day stay in Palandöken, I came on a friend's recommendation. I’d choose half board next time. The 550 lira extra for lunch on full board didn’t seem worth it, since you can order food whenever you like for less and get more choice.

Really good value, and the staff were attentive and happy to accommodate us.
