The Sansa Hotel & Spa

We were grateful to the manager for making our two-night stay special. We arrived late at night without a reservation, and the hotel was full, but the kind reception staff spoke to him and he let us use his private suite. We'd stayed here several times before, so we knew the rooms had comfortable beds and good showers. The private suite was even better, and I can't thank him enough for helping us. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite, and the hotel is very clean, has a good atmosphere and smells lovely. Breakfast is an all-you-can-eat buffet with a great choice of food and drinks. Room prices are very good, and we'll definitely stay again.

I stayed here in 2023 and thought it was quite a good hotel, though the soundproofing was poor and the internet was VERY slow. At the time I paid around 25-30 euros a night, converted from lira, which felt fair. Now the cheapest room is 2600 lira, or 70 euros a night. What is going on with these prices? That's insane for Turkey, especially in a city like Manavgat. I recently stayed in a hotel in the Swiss Alps for about 90 euros. These prices are on the hotel's own website, so there's no Booking commission involved. I understand inflation, but why did the cost jump so much in EUR/USD terms? A shame.

Adem went out of his way to get my tablet back to me after I left it in my room and only realized two days later. They found it, stayed in touch after I first reported it, then took it to the post office and sent it to the city where I was. I paid for delivery, of course. Thanks, Adem. Getting it back made my day. We visited on May 8, 2022, and had a good stay at a very nice, well-located hotel. We were there just one night as a stop on the way to the mountains. The hotel is less than a block from the river, and some rooms look that way. There's a good, affordable restaurant by the river, and shops and places to walk along the water are nearby. Our room was clean and looked much like the photos. Reception was kind and informative, and check-in and checkout were quick. The spa was closed at that time of year. We'd hoped to relax after a long day, but hadn't realized it would be closed. We didn't get to use it, so keep that in mind if it's one of your reasons for choosing the hotel. It wasn't a big deal for us that day.

The staff were kind and gave us another room, but it looked and smelled much like the first one. The spa was closed that day, which was the Islamic sacrifice festival. Breakfast was okay, but the stay wasn't worth three stars or the 80€ per night we paid. The room was dirty and unpleasant. It smelled of stale cigarette smoke and other bad odors, the walls were dirty, the pillows felt like stones, and the towels had brown stains. There were hairs in the bathroom corner, too. The whole room looked shabby.
