On arrival we were given a very small room with a poor layout. The fridge made a loud bang every 20 minutes, so I unplugged it, and then the toilet stopped flushing. We were moved to room 109 at the front of the hotel. It was a good size, but housekeeping was very poor. The toilet area smelled, the floor wasn't swept, soap and shower gel weren't refilled, no drinking water was left, towels weren't changed, and the bed wasn't made. One day the patio door was left wide open, which felt like a security risk on the ground floor. After I complained at reception, the room was thoroughly cleaned. This was my third stay at Very Chic. It's right by the beach in the centre of Gumbet, and the hotel cleans the sand and rubbish from the beach every day. There's a good-sized pool area with plenty of sunbeds. At this time of year, thankfully, the bars outside had stopped playing loud music. The food was great as always, and the restaurant service led by Engin was good. Josh and the bar team, especially Ibrahim, looked after us. We also made good use of the all-inclusive Starbucks coffee shop. I highly recommend Very Chic, but housekeeping needs to improve.

We spent two weeks here, and the staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. The food was tasty and excellent, and both the bar team and restaurant servers were great. The location was good too, so I'd highly recommend the hotel. There isn't much storage in the room, but it wasn't really a problem.

There was a warm feel to the place, from the greenery growing around the property to the well-maintained gym. It also has a large pool with a bar, a big buffet restaurant, and Starbucks, with an entertainment show every evening. The location is beautiful, and the hotel has its own beach with sunbeds, close to the beach club Roys. It's a beautiful, budget-friendly hotel. I'd recommend it to adults looking for a clean place with nice food, a good vibe, and a good location, if it fits their budget.

My jacket was left in my luggage in the hotel room, and a friend kindly agreed to bring it back from Turkey. I contacted the company right away and clearly explained how long she would be staying, but they sent the jacket too late. She's flying out tomorrow and can't take it now. This wasn't the first problem. A year ago they mixed up my parcel and sent my aunt someone else's tablet instead of my jacket. They promised to resend my jacket and cover the costs if I returned the tablet. I trusted them and sent it back. The hotel staff were miserable and unhelpful, always seeming annoyed and unfriendly. The whole place had an uncomfortable, negative atmosphere. From start to finish, it was an unprofessional and unreliable experience. I wouldn't return or recommend it to anyone. If I could, I'd give zero stars.
