Kibriscik Koroglu Dag Evleri

A lovely, wild setting. Watch out for wild pigs on the drive to the villas.

It was a perfect fit.

The hazelnut wood stove kept me wonderfully warm, and nights were so quiet except for the wind and rain. I came back for a second visit in December because I’d missed the place so much. We had to leave around 6 am, so I missed the sunrise, though the foggy weather was beautiful. It really felt like being in nature. I hope it stays open. I’ll come again in summer.

Ms. Asiye welcomed me so warmly, and I’m grateful to her. It’s a peaceful place with little wooden cottages and a lovely atmosphere, and the price feels fair for what you get. The hazelnut wood stove needs topping up as it burns down, and it didn’t feel quite enough in the cold. There’s a fireplace too, though I think it was later changed into a hazelnut wood stove. The houses could use a little maintenance, but that didn’t bother me. I stayed the nights of January 4 and 5, and no one was there when I arrived. If you’re not expecting too much, it’s a great place to unwind.
