The home-grown herbal tea was such a thoughtful touch. I’d caught a cold just before arriving, and the blend seemed to work wonders. It was soothing, aromatic, and restorative, like a remedy passed down through generations. Breakfast was a lovely start to each morning, with plenty of fresh local options. The service at Barbayani Hotel was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring from beginning to end. I had a wonderful stay, and would definitely return. It’s a great choice if you’re after comfort, charm, and a little local wellness.

We visited in October and really liked the atmosphere. The hotel is very nice and close to both the center and feribot iskelesi.

Our room was clean and perfectly adequate, and the breakfast was excellent. Eleni, the hotel owner, was so friendly and welcoming. We only spent one night at Barbayani Hotel in May, and wished our vacation had been longer so we could stay more. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit.

The one thing I’d ask the hotel to reconsider is charging for extra water and toiletries. We were told those came at a cost when we requested them during our three-day stay, and it would be good to think about how that works on an island. We were otherwise very pleased with our July stay in a room with a veranda. The cleaning was meticulous, service was commendable, and Mr. Poyraz and Ms. Nebahat were hospitable and helpful. Mr. Medet also made the reservation process easier, and we appreciated his help. Breakfast came with fresh greens, homemade jams, and warm pastries, so thanks to everyone involved. I work in tourism, and I think this level of care could be an example for other businesses in the area. Our overall impression was very positive, and we wholeheartedly recommend it for a peaceful, enjoyable holiday.
