Eleni Butik Hotel

We paid 5000 TL per night for two nights in room 2. The room was tiny, nothing like the photos, and once we opened our suitcase there was barely room to walk. It sits right by the hotel entrance, so everyone coming and going passes right outside. People chatted and smoked there late into the night, and the noise and smell kept us from sleeping at all. For that price, you could stay in a villa in Kaş. My husband said the hotel was a little better than a tent, and I can’t stop thinking about it.

The management and staff were excellent, and the hotel’s proximity to the center was good. Our only bad luck was choosing the same dates as Ms. Derya and her family. They had very little consideration for others, with loud conversations outside the door in the middle of the night and near-shouting arguments early in the morning, which was quite annoying. For anyone staying here, I’d suggest getting takeaway without breakfast. The breakfast area didn’t seem hygienic to us, and it may only be worth considering for the view, if the bees allow it.

Our family left really happy, and we’ll definitely come back next time. It’s easy to get around from this central location, and the quiet atmosphere was just what we wanted. The rooms were spotless and smelled lovely, the staff were warm and quick to help, and breakfast had plenty of fresh choices. Great value for the service. I’d happily recommend it 🥰🌿✨

The breakfast was the one bright spot. It’s served at City Restaurant, about a 5-6 minute walk away, and was filling with a good variety. We stayed six days, and the room was never cleaned. We asked for it and left the key, but when we came back they’d only emptied the trash. We had to ask again for fresh towels, and ended up bringing our own and getting new ones 2-3 times that week. I can understand skipping a clean on a 3-4 day stay, but not for a whole week. The toilet also had an unbearable smell. Some mornings we went to a cafe or restaurant just to wash our hands and faces. When we raised it, they only sprayed air freshener. There wasn’t a shower head in the bathroom either, so washing was awkward. This really could ruin a vacation. I’m adding this after seeing the hotel’s response. They said rooms are cleaned on request, which is why we expected it to happen when we asked and handed over the key. We didn’t even get clean towels, let alone fresh bed linen. We’d only straightened the bed and left a duvet. We asked Mr. Hasan once to wash our towels and asked how much it would cost, but he refused to pay. The response says this happened twice, but we never had them washed a second time. If the point is that 3400 TL means we should have low expectations, then the room review should also mention the broken shower head and possible bad odor :)
