Utopia Konak Otel

This is an old, two-storey wooden building with an open-plan layout and a public garden, and it was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. Drunken chatter and other noise were so bad I couldn't even stay in the room. I kept calling the manager about how uncomfortable it was, but we were up all night and left in a hurry at dawn. I only stayed because there wasn't another vacant room in town. There was no reception, no breakfast, no air conditioning, no refrigerator or cooler, and no comfort at all. After 5 PM, there was nobody to open the door, and there wasn't even parking for one car. This bizarre place has nothing to do with a hotel, and granting it a hotel license was a mistake. If you trust the positive reviews from friends and acquaintances, you'll go through the same trauma I did. I condemn Hotels.com for offering this monstrosity as a hotel, and we will never choose Hotels.com again.

I felt at home here while traveling alone from Izmir for my daughter's volleyball tournament. The location is lovely, the rooms are spotless, and the staff are very attentive. There's a really pleasant bar area in the garden. Batuhan Bey helped me with everything, from getting settled and carrying my luggage to parking my car, and sorting out food and drinks. If I'm in this area again, I'll come back without even looking elsewhere. I'd recommend it to anyone passing through.

There's a lovely, distinctive atmosphere in the garden, with a separate indoor seating area. They light the stoves in winter and put up umbrellas in summer. The food is delicious, the staff are attentive, and the setting feels warm. The hotel itself has a historic atmosphere, and everything you might want to see in central Bozüyük is within walking distance. I strongly recommend going to see it. Don't hesitate.

Awful service and a terrible attitude. During the holiday season there were no empty tables, so our group of friends sat together. When another table opened up, we asked to move but were told we already had a table and had to stay put. There were four of us: one friend ordered a beer and the other three ordered Churchills. When I asked for a second Churchill, they said they couldn't serve one. Was beer the only thing they sold? That wasn't stated on the door. The whole conversation felt like “get up and leave, you can't sit here if you don't drink beer.” Opening a place like this in a small town shows no courtesy at all. Service is what makes a business successful, no matter how nice the place is, and with only 3-5 tables, how nice can it be? The management and chefs are terrible. What a shame.
