Euphrates Hotel

The open buffet breakfast had lots of choices and was delicious, a great way to start the day. The hotel felt peaceful, and our room was spotless. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the stay especially enjoyable. This was the best part of our holiday, and we'd love to come back.

The broken lift was out of order from our first day, and at 11pm we had to carry five large towels, bed linen, and two duvets up five flights of stairs. Those things should already have been provided. We were also upset to find my expensive designer sunglasses taken out of their case and left broken on the coffee table after the room was cleaned. The cleaner didn't even try to hide what had happened. Rooms aren't cleaned unless you ask reception, and even after we put our belongings away, this happened. We began our stay at Euphrates Hotel with hope because of the good reviews, but left feeling our trust was broken. I've never left a bad Google review before, only good ones, but this was a huge regret. Don't stay here unless you want to leave very upset and disappointed after your holiday.

The breakfast was very nice, especially the date molasses (hurma pekmezi) with tahini. Ezgi at reception was so friendly, helpful, and gracious, and Hatice in the kitchen treated us warmly. I can't remember everyone's name, but the whole team made us feel like family and were always willing to help or do something special. The rooms were comfortable, and Hotel Euphrates is well located in Bursa. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend it.

Hatice deserves a special thank you for breakfast. There was a great spread of salads, olives, cheeses, jams, and really good humus. We had a very nice stay, and everything here felt perfect. Thanks also to Ezgi, who was available and helpful with all the information we needed.
