Breakfast and the terrace were the highlights. The service and room were okay, though the price felt high for what we got, even if the location may explain some of it. Our top-floor room wasn’t bothered by breakfast noise since we were always up early, but we heard the very loud neighbours next door every night, including their phone calls. The soundproofing was surprisingly poor, even though the walls don’t touch. There was also an unclean smell in the room that might have been a sewage issue. The area is very touristy, so restaurants cost a little more. For three stars, it was about what you might expect, but more expensive. I’d probably stay somewhere else next time, and would keep expectations in check.

Mansur deserves special thanks. He was always around with useful advice and recommendations, and we really connected. My father and I spent four nights at Marmara Guesthouse and had a lovely stay. The room and breakfast were great, the staff were kind and good at what they do, and it was close to both mosques.

We had a varied breakfast upstairs on the terrace, with a view over the Bosphorus. The location was great too, just minutes from the main attractions. My room was spotlessly clean, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. I found the hotel very welcoming, loved my stay, and would happily return. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was a little noisy, but I could manage it for my three-day stay. The location was excellent, just a short walk from Topkaki Palace, Hage Sophia, and more. The terrace had a great view, and breakfast was really good.

We had two rooms for three nights, one economy and one standard. Both felt spacious, very clean, comfortable, and had good AC. The hotel is incredibly close to the Blue Mosque and Aiga Sophia, with all the main Istanbul sights within walking distance. Breakfast was probably among the best we’ve had at a hotel, and the value can’t be beat. We loved our stay and will definitely come back when we’re in Istanbul again.
