Ayder Doga Resort hotel

The climb up the hill was a surprise, since cars can't reach the hotel, but once we made it up all those steps, they welcomed us warmly and we could relax. They even brought our luggage up from the street by cable car. The views were amazing, breakfast was very good with a beautiful outlook, and the room, though small, had enough space. We were glad we chose it.

What really made the stay nicer was the staff. Mr. Murat, Mr. Fatih, Ms. Sabiha , and Mr. Tayeb were all so friendly and attentive, and made us feel welcome. The hotel has amazing views from its high hillside spot, though getting up there is a steep walk. With our two toddlers it was hard, so families with little kids or anyone with mobility concerns should keep that in mind. Our room was spacious and clean, but the bathroom had a noticeable smell. We had to ask for it to be cleaned each day, since daily cleaning wasn't offered unless requested. Food was another disappointment. The menu felt limited over our four nights, and during the first two days, when the hotel was almost empty, most choices seemed to be frozen, especially the food for kids. We had expected fresh options, particularly for a children's menu. My husband also asked if we could have breakfast in one of the outdoor cabinets, but we were told no. We'd been looking forward to that after seeing it in the hotel's highlight stories. It left us with the impression that this may be available to influencers or people with large followings, and that guests could be treated differently based on their online presence. That didn't feel fair. The location and staff give the hotel a lot of potential, but accessibility, food variety, and consistency in guest service need improvement for a more satisfying stay.

The waterfall sounds, the lovely staff, and the cozy hotel made this feel like a magical getaway in the middle of nature. Such a peaceful, beautiful place. I'll definitely come back 😊

The breakfast and the room rate were the worst parts. We got one omelet to share between two people, plus jam left over from someone else's table. The normal rate without breakfast should be $ 35, not $ 150 per day. They seem to treat tourists better than locals. Getting from the parking lot to the hotel means walking uphill for about 50 meters through mud, snow, or grass. Dogs can't enter unless escorted or brought with a repeller, and you have to call the administrator. The hotel itself is very poorly built. Roadside motels in Ebenevo are more respectable. There's almost nothing to eat from the menu, and they had air conditioning despite the snow and mud outside. There are all kinds of hotels in Turkey, but even for this sort of money it's getting hard to find a good one. It's sad.
