Özen Villa Apart

I arrived with my family at 14:15 and found that the apartment had been sold to someone else, even though I had booked directly with the manager. After I confirmed and sent my details and passport, he had removed its availability from booking. They may have offered it to someone else for a higher price, but that's only a suspicion. The behavior was shameful and dishonorable. Luckily, I found a better place for my family within 25 minutes. I don't trust the people managing this property. Be careful. Majed M E

Moayed deserves special thanks for his support and genuine care during my stay. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. The food was average, but the service and kindness made up for it. I had an excellent stay at Ozen Villa Apart by Uzungöl Lake and recommend it to anyone visiting Uzungöl.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the family running these apartments and bungalows were lovely and friendly. The views of lake uzungol, the valley, and mountains were amazing. Breakfast was delicious. There was a kitchen, but it only had a kettle, so it wasn't very useful. I highly recommend the place. We had planned to spend an hour in Rize on the way to Çamlıhemşin, about 1.5 hours away, but others suggested making a day of it, and I'm so glad we did.

We picked this place for a quiet stay, which meant being farther from the center. The villa was clean and tidy, and the family and staff were very polite and friendly. The lake view was great, though not the best. The main issue for my family was the cat, which scared them. Breakfast was ordinary, maybe a little below average. There was no air conditioning in my rooms, as noted when I booked, but the weather was pleasant so we didn't need it. The road into the center is like the other roads in the area. It's not a five-star hotel, so expect some noise from neighbors.
