It's easily the cutest place around, though I wouldn't stay there for long.

The music was good, but the room was so cramped that people kept passing and bumping into us, making it hard to focus on the stage. I paid 750 TL for 2 teas, 1 coffee, and 1 muhlama, a Turkish dish. The bill didn't seem right, so I returned and checked the reviews, where I saw others had the same issue. Tea was served in a cup. When I asked for a glass, the guy said he couldn't bring one, then said he only brought glasses to people drinking alcohol, even though I'd seen him do it for others. I've been to live music spots in countless cities and never seen anything like this. Ayder's venues have turned into something else, and now you're treated this way even in your own hometown. I wish I'd read the reviews beforehand.

The cigarette smell was strong enough that we wanted to leave before the live music started, but they said they'd charge us if we did. So we stayed and ordered tea and plain soda. The tea came in a cup and cost 100 TL, and the bottled plain soda they served was also 100 TL. There was a 100 TL per person fee for the live music. When we asked for a menu, the gentleman said there wasn't one and offered to help us instead. It really wasn't worth going there.

On June 30, 2024, my wife and I went out for the evening and were shocked by the prices. There's no menu or price list, just prices they decide to show you, and no oversight. A can of beer is 200 lira, and live music costs 150 lira per person. People talk about Alaçatı and Bodrum, but they should come see Ayder too. It's unnecessarily expensive for both locals and tourists, and it's going on my list of places I won't visit again.

The cafe recently renamed itself "Gel Kopalum," and I'd avoid it if possible. We went for live music, but there was no menu and a can of cola cost 150 TL. Everything was triple the price, and it felt like they were trying to rip people off. The place itself wasn't pleasant either, it felt like a concentration camp.
