The location and facilities are magnificent, but the upkeep and management let the place down. It's a hotel or guesthouse type of place, so don't arrive with high expectations. Cleanliness was basically nonexistent apart from the bathrooms. There were tiny insects on the beds, and the bedbugs gnawing at the wood made it nearly impossible to sleep until morning. You could visit, but only if you don't stay in the rooms.

Everything was clean, the food was good, and the hotel is more than just a mountain stay. It's tucked among trees in a perfect location, even more beautiful than Ayder in my opinion. Go, it's wonderful. I'm already planning to come back next year.
