Istanbul Beach Sweet Home Hotel

The location is the one real plus, since the apartment is close to the sea. It's small and new, but not in good condition, and there was mold in the shower. There was no iron in the apartment when we arrived, but at checkout the administration said it had been there and told us to pay for it. I don't recommend these apartments.

These are new apartments with a swimming pool and a good kitchen, but there were cockroaches and lots of other insects.

We had to collect the room key from another hotel, and working out where that was and how to check in was really annoying. Once we got there, they gave us a Wi-Fi password, but it didn't work, so we were without internet for the whole stay. The listing photos are completely misleading. They show a well-kept, modern place with little plants, but the plants are now huge and overgrown, like a jungle. The pictures must be ancient, from when the building was first built. The apartment itself was in terrible shape. There was extensive mold on the walls and ceiling, and we found a cockroach in the sink. There were only two of us, but just one blanket. Some furniture was broken, the table was unstable, the balcony floor was badly rusted, and the stovetop burners were rusty too. The whole place felt cold, sterile, and neglected. Stay away, this room is a complete dump and looks nothing like the photos online. Absolutely disappointing, never again!

The pool was spotless, and the apartment had an iron, microwave, refrigerator, and vacuum cleaner. It was very clean, and Mr. Ercan was kind and helpful. We were really pleased with the place we rented for the first time, and the prices were very reasonable. Our checkout was meant to be at 12, but Mr. Ercan said we could stay until 2. They really keep their word. It's a quiet, peaceful, clean place, and I'd tell anyone looking to stay here to rent without hesitation. I won't rent anywhere else from now on.
