Sandy Beach

A lovely place to pause during a walk along the beach promenade. We’ve stopped here many times for fresh juice on the terrace, though we haven’t stayed at the hotel. The Vitamin Bar does pure pomegranate juice and tasty mixes, with great quality for just €2.50. The staff are really friendly, the toilets are clean, and the terrace is right by the promenade. Highly recommend it for a break on a beach walk.

The location is excellent, and the food was good with plenty of variety, especially the desserts. Our room was decent, though its terrace was tiny. I noticed that some other rooms and areas of the hotel had bigger terraces. The staff worked hard, but English was limited. Since 90% of the guests were German, staff seemed more comfortable speaking German.

We’ve come back for a second visit and were just as happy with it. The beach is kept in good shape and had enough umbrellas and loungers, and the sea was warm and calm. The food was great, and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend it.

The reception staff were rude from the start and didn’t try to solve our problems. We were there with our little son and needed a baby bed, which made the room feel even tighter, so we asked for a larger room. They refused. We also asked for a room closer to both the coast and the restaurant because we had a child, and they refused that too. They said every room was full, but that wasn’t true. The website says the coast has no waves, but there were really big waves, so families with children should keep that in mind. The meals were ordinary and didn’t have much variety. There was no kettle in the room, and the minibar had only water. I wouldn’t choose this place again.
