Avoid this scam. I paid for a room at a hotel that no longer exists, it's now called “Uraz Otel.” They took my money and ran.

The low season in Tekirova doesn't have much going on, but this resort is wonderfully quiet then, surrounded by fragrant citrus orchards. Get up before the clouds roll in and you can see snowy mountains. The hosts cooked dinner for me themselves, freshly made, when I thought they were calling delivery. The drive to Olympos ancient city takes only a few minutes and is memorable, though check your brakes. This is the best little place I've stayed in across three long trips to this country. Go in the low season if you want a perfectly quiet stay.

The owner didn't ask me to write this, which is one reason I wanted to leave a review. It's a peaceful little oasis in the middle of all the holiday chaos, with clean, cozy rooms and staff who are friendly and really helpful. The beach is a five-minute walk away. It's on a quiet side road, and the room is great value, especially with the beach only a five-minute walk away. I got in late after hiking solo on the Lycian Way, and the staff were friendly and helped me find dinner.
