Aspen Hotel Çanakkale

The toilet in our room was broken, and the air conditioning didn't work. We left because the services they claimed to provide weren't actually available, and the discomfort meant we couldn't use our five nights. There was no apology or refund. They refused to return any of the money, even though we couldn't stay, and I feel the property is falsely advertising its facilities. The staff were dishonest, and everything was broken. Maybe our hard-earned money can go toward fixing things. 0 out of 10, do not recommend.

The breakfast was okay, though there weren't many choices, and there's a car park behind the hotel. It's in a great location, with polite staff and rooms that are clean and nice. The fittings could be better. The knob came off the bathroom's glass door right when we checked in, so staff moved us to another room. When I opened the window there, the curtain fell down. Otherwise, the hotel looks great.

For 82 euro, suite 501 on the top floor felt like a bargain. It was quiet, spacious, and had one of the best beds I've slept in. The balcony takes up the whole space, with nobody above you, and the panoramic view over the bay and hills is amazing. I was looking for a quiet room with a view, and this one delivered.

The bar kindly made us a range of cocktails. Our room was on the small side but very clean, and that was fine given how close it was to the sea, restaurants, and tourist spots.
