Çavdarhisar Evi has been added as a guesthouse, with average nightly prices around 1,000-2,000 Turkish Lira. The boutique hotel was owned by Tursaba (Turkish Tourism Association) and leased for five years, but it has since stopped operating and currently offers no services. You could still consider it if you want to stay in Çavdarhisar. I rated it four stars because it’s no longer open. Maybe that’ll change someday.

The hotel is right next to the ancient city of Aizonai, and its location and service quality meet expectations. For anyone wanting more than a day trip, it’s a lovely place to stay while spending longer exploring the ancient city.

We’d booked for two after calling during the day. That night, when we rang again to ask for the location, nobody picked up, so we found somewhere else to stay. Leaving guests unable to reach you by phone when you offer a service is disgraceful.

We called in the morning to book under our name, then tried again that evening to arrange a meeting. Nobody answered, and they kept putting us on hold. It felt unsafe, and I’d never recommend the place. Maybe going in the morning would be different, but in the evening you just can’t reach anyone.

The place is clean and nice as a hotel, but it still falls short of what I expected. Mr. Erhan, one of the employees, is very positive and polite. The pool wasn’t working, though, and the fitness center feels suffocating.
