Ilhan Kardesler Apart Hotel

We only stayed one night, and honestly the cleanliness is why I rated it low. The room wasn't very clean, and we could hear the people around us from morning until the next night. One side of the bed smelled like barbequed food, and the bed itself was too small and uncomfortable. The workers seemed good, though.

The location is perfect and the rooms are clean, but the hotel doesn't offer basic services like laundry or a restaurant, and the safe box was locked. Daily room cleaning isn't provided unless you request it. The bathroom needs maintenance, and there is no sound isolation, so you hear noise and movement from other rooms.

We're on day three of our four-day stay in this apartment hotel. The front desk staff have been welcoming, friendly, and helpful around the clock. The rooms are clean, and the hotel seems to have been renovated. They're heated with a small fan in the room. We chose a lake-view suite. I'm 175 cm, and it felt small with a low roof, though I could get around where I needed to and enjoyed the experience of living almost like a local in one of the same houses. The mattresses aren't comfortable, and all the pillows are Buffy, with no other options. That's where it lost a star for me. They also have regular rooms with high ceilings if you don't want the top floor. The lake-view rooms are great, and you're close to the lake, walking areas, and everything you need. The suite has a washing machine and a full kitchen set, plus there's a spacious parking lot. Sometimes you get free Turkish coffee too. I loved it overall and will come back on our next visit.

The lake is nearby, parking is free, and the view is lovely. The staff were kind and helpful too. The downside was no air conditioning in the rooms. At midday in late August, when it got to around 31°C, that was especially needed.
