5 Kaza Hotel

We’ve come back for a second visit because we love it here. Kaza 5 villa is beautiful, and Kayakoy is a lovely village to stay in. The rooftop terrace and pool look out across the valley to the deserted homes in the distance. Bariş was a great host, and the welcome pack was especially appreciated after our very late arrival. He’s available if you need help, information, or a taxi called. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the nearest restaurant. We like hiring push bikes and cycling into the centre for bread and other bits. There’s also a bus to Hisaronu and Fethiye, though check the times: the last bus from Fethiye back to Kaya used to be at 10pm and is currently at 19.30. We have breakfast at the villa and eat out in the evenings, but if you want to cook there’s an oven, plenty of utensils, and a rooftop BBQ. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

That roof terrace is the highlight, with a private pool, outdoor dining and seating areas, and a fire pit BBQ overlooking a fantastic view. The kitchen and living room are upstairs and have lovely views too, plus there’s a great breakfast terrace off the kitchen. 5kaza was comfortable, clean, and very well equipped, with nice decorative touches. The bedrooms are downstairs, where they stay cool in the summer heat, and have plenty of space, lovely beds, and excellent en-suites. We couldn’t have asked for more. Best place we’ve stayed.

Such an incredible place to stay.

A wonderful house, and I haven’t seen another place in Kayaköy with a rooftop pool and views like these.
