Royal Uzungol Hotel Spa & Restaurant

The place felt peaceful and cozy, and I fell in love with it. It was clean, the staff were attentive, and the food was delicious. We had an amazing time. Our highest rating! ❣️

The weather was super nice in summer, and the hotel was wonderful. The staff are really friendly. We left one of my daughter's items behind, so I called them. They responded right away and kept it for us until we went back to collect it.

The spa is excellent, with a steam room, sauna, hamam, and a good-sized pool. Women can use the spa from 9am to 3pm, and men from 3pm to 9pm. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely helpful. The Turkish breakfast was good, though it’s a pity there’s no coffee machine. There is a Starbucks counter in the main lobby, but it’s grossly overpriced. The hotel is beautifully furnished inside, spacious throughout, and the rooms are large. It’s a lovely spot beyond the end of the lake, about an easy 15-minute walk from the town centre. That makes it very quiet, even with how manic Uzungol gets in summer. There’s a very large car park. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We were there in December, during Uzungöl’s quiet season, and loved our stay. The meals they made for us were fresh and delicious, even though the hotel wasn’t busy. After spending most of the day out enjoying Uzungöl’s beautiful nature, a good meal was especially welcome. The carefully decorated wooden interior felt cozy and connected us to nature. It’s family-friendly and accessible for people with disabilities, too. Everything was super clean, and our room had what we needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and professional. Thanks especially to Mertcan and Davut Bey for making us feel so welcome! We didn’t get to try the Turkish bath, sauna, spa, massage, or pool because we were out most of the time. I heard it’s popular with honeymooners, which makes sense. We’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Uzungöl.
