The view is amazing, and the place was well maintained. There’s a balcony, plus a bathroom with a shower head and warm water. We had enough beds for around 8 people, along with shelves for our things. The kitchen setup includes a stove, microwave, fridge, sink, kettle, utensils, and pans. The neighbours can be a bit noisy, though that isn’t the owners’ fault. Mr Dawood was kind and helpful whenever we needed anything.

I only stayed one night, but had a great time. The rooms were modern and very clean, and Mr Dawood was kind and honest. There’s parking right in front if you’re driving. The lake is about a 20 minute walk away, which wasn’t a problem for me in the nice weather. Breakfast isn’t included, but there are plenty of places nearby to eat. Highly recommended.

The noise was the worst part of our three-night stay. We could hear constant, extreme noise from rooms above us and on the same floor, and we couldn’t sleep for all three nights. I’d read older reviews about other guests being bothered, but didn’t realize how bad it was until we experienced it ourselves. We raised our concerns with management several times and felt ignored. It made the stay in Uzungol miserable, and I won’t return, ever. We booked the One Bedroom Suite With Mountain View. The hotel has an elevator, which made the upper floor easy to reach, and it’s about a 10 minute walk from uzungol lake. There’s also its own parking area. The sitting room was dirty, especially the sofa, which had patchy white dirt all over it. There were insects too, perhaps from the balcony being left open before we arrived. The oven sparked dangerously, so we unplugged it. An iron was available on request, but no ironing board, and the toilets had no exhaust fans. We could manage those issues, but the noise was unacceptable.

A super place to relax, with very friendly staff. Mr. Dalwood was the best. It’s a lovely spot, but the road noise out front can be a problem when you’re looking for quiet. The prices are high, though.
