The view of Uzungol lake is lovely, and the staff were wonderful, from Amina, Marve and Fatimah nour to Hussien at reception. Everything was super clean, and they were happy to help with any needs. A great place for a health vacation.

The drive up is a little difficult, but the views and the service make it worthwhile. It's a peaceful spot away from town, surrounded by nature, with a mesmerizing view. Rooms are clean, service is good, and the staff are kind, helpful, and welcoming. The restaurant has a good selection of tasty food too. I'll put it on my list for my next visit to Uzangol.

The food was a real highlight during our two nights on June 16 and 17. We had dinner too: the Fahita was super tasty, the shish tawok was amazing, and the seasonal salad tasted freshly picked. Breakfast was generous, and they could make changes if we asked. Staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Ozan, who always greeted us with a big smile, and their Patron Abdullah, who was kind and agreeable. They handled all our requests without any obligations. Our room was clean, had a fascinating lake view, and there was always hot water. We enjoyed the stay and would come back. There were some drawbacks. We could hear our neighbors talking through the walls, and I assume they could hear us as well. The balcony door had no insect screen, although the weather in June was cool enough that we had no trouble with mosquitoes or other insects. The bathroom needs maintenance: the shower had no door, and a slightly bad smell spread in the evening. There was no friedg, but we didn't see a need for one because the weather was very cool. As with all the hotels in the mountain, the road up is not easy.

I paid for two non-refundable nights but left after just one because of the problems we had. The building felt old and was poorly lit, so getting around in the dark was difficult. There were lots of stairs and no elevator, making it hard to carry our luggage. Staff weren't available or welcoming, either. Our room was dirty and missing basic things: no fridge, hot water, iron, or heater. The food was scant and very poor, and service took an extremely long time. There was no soundproofing, so I could hear everything around me as if people were in our room. The bathroom smelled strongly unpleasant, and the room smelled of cigarettes.
