The owner was so kind and shared useful tips for exploring the area. We felt looked after at Marissa Hotel in Çeşme and would happily return. Our room was clean, cozy, and furnished with care. You can tell a lot of love went into the place.

The room was comfortable, functional, and very clean, and the whole hotel felt peaceful and homey. The hosts are a lovely couple who clearly notice the small details. Breakfast was wonderful, with lots of fresh, tasty traditional Turkish items. The decor is beautiful, too.

Gökhan and his staff made us feel welcome right away, greeting us with coffee, chai, and water. They were friendly throughout, and Gökhan can help guests make the most of their time in Çesme. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could, the experience was that good. The building dates back to 1859 and is registered. Its original features remain, alongside lovely additions, mostly traditional and antique pieces from Türkiye and the Far East that Gökhan found at markets and auctions. Every room is different, with original details and work handcrafted by Gökhan and other artists and actors. Çesme is a beautiful city in Izmir. If you’re visiting, be sure to stay here.

The stone walls made the building feel very safe. During the 7.0 earthquake, with the epicenter 65 km away, it felt like a train was passing through. It’s an authentic building over 200 years old, with a tasty breakfast and a really nice host. Great place!

Serdar was attentive and genuinely nice, and the individual breakfast was great. It’s a lovely little hotel, clean throughout, with a cute, cozy feel and thoughtful decor.
