Poseidon Marine Villa

Görkem and his family looked after us really well when we rented a Çeşme Villa with a Pool for Rent. The villa matched the pictures, and there were plenty of sun loungers. They cleaned the pool every evening. There was a large air conditioner, but the light breeze in the area meant we didn't need it. We plan to come back next year.

We were unhappy with the house and had a bad holiday because it didn't live up to what we expected, despite communicating a lot with the owner beforehand. It needs a serious renovation and cleaning. The place felt old, dirty, and neglected, and the photos were misleading. The kitchen utensils were rusty and dirty; the dishwasher seemed to run but left dishes stained and unclean. The owner tried to deal with some complaints, but there were too many problems. The shared pool itself was clean and good, but a deep section was left uncovered for a whole week. No precautions were taken, and children could easily have fallen in. The nearby beach wasn't good, and reaching it without a car was very difficult. It looked walkable, but you have to cross the main road, as the owner had already mentioned. The house didn't seem suitable for children at all. The area was generally quiet and peaceful. We arrived during a windy spell, so we couldn't use the garden or balcony. There aren't many nearby markets apart from Ildır village, which was tiring. To get to Ilıca, you have to pass through Ildır village; its narrow streets can cause traffic, wasting time. Ilıca is about 40 minutes away, or you can choose beaches about 20-25 minutes away.

The garden is spacious, the pool was clean, and the house itself was tidy and well kept. It's in a fantastic location, and I'd recommend it to anyone considering a holiday.

We rented one of the houses for a week and were very pleased. They're clean, well maintained, and in a great location. Recommended if you're considering a vacation.
